Sossi in Peas and Pasta

Ingredients

  • Sossi 180g
  • I big onion
  • 8 cloves saumu (garlic) - crushed
  • 1 medium tangawizi (ginger) -grated
  • 3 big tomatoes -diced
  • 2 cup green peas- boiled
  • 3 big carrots - chopped
  • 4 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 200gms pasta/macoroni
  • 3  cups water

Instructions

  • In a bowl soak sossi in 1 cup water & set aside.
  • In a sufuria boil pasta in salty water till ready or tender then drain water & set aside.
  • In another sufuria fry onions in a pot until golden, add ginger & garlic,
  • Add the carrots & tomatoes cover pot & cook for 5 minutes in low heat.
  • Now add the boiled peas stirring for app 2 minutes, before adding Sossi.
  • Leave to cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Add water leave to cook for 6 minutes.
  • Add the pasta & stir & cook for 3 more minutes.
