Serves 3: Cooking time 20 minutes.
Recipe for Sossi Githeri
- Soak 80g Sossi in a medium size cup of cold water (180ml) until all the water has been absorbed by the chunks (10 mins).
- Heat the oil in a sufuria, add the chopped onion and fry gently until tender (2 mins)
- Add the Sossi chunks and chopped tomatoes, salt to taste and fry (4 mins)
- Add boiled githeri, to the stew and some water- 100ml to cook (10 mins)
- Add dhania and hoho and cook (2 min)
